Made over the course of personal trips to Texas, California and Brazil, these images explore themes of grit and resilience that the artist observed in the people he encountered in each place. In this way, the images are allegories for people and their stories of hardship endured. This body of work was shown at the artist’s first solo show on May 13th, 2017 in New York City.
